Our family of seven had a wonderful week together at Puslinch Lake Cottage. Its the best of both worlds as you feel like youre away in cottage country, but its only a ten-minute drive into town if you need anything. A couple of us took daily morning walks along the trails just a short drive away at Riverside Park. We had to try the 10 oz famous burgers at the Old Marina Restaurant just a five-minute walk from the cottage – we all came back stuffed!! We also enjoyed good homemade food and great service in Cambridge at The Gator’s Tail and some tasty ice cream in freshly made waffle cones at Indulge Ice Cream. The cottage was super cozy with three comfortable and clean bedrooms that included empty dresser drawers and lots of closet space to hang our clothes. There is a pull-out couch in the living room and a big screen where we enjoyed watching Netflix and some of the Stanley Cup games! The kitchen is well stocked and includes full use of an empty fridge/freezer and a pantry with many open shelves to load all your groceries into. We ate a lot of meals around the big kitchen table and played games in the evenings. And now to the best part of the cottage - the outside is BEAUTIFUL and we were lucky to have gorgeous weather the entire week of our stay. From starting off the day with a coffee or mimosa sitting on the couch on the upper patio - to spending sunny afternoons on a lounger poolside, in the pool on a comfy floatie or at the poolside table playing a game of cribbage - to fires at night right down at the edge of the water roasting marshmallows. One night, we sat out on the dock to watch the sky change from the beautiful pink sunset to a black sky full of stars/satellites – constantly changing and so spectacular. The lake was very quiet with only the odd speedboat, pontoon boat or paddle boarder in the distance. We also got to watch the water skiers that would pass by the cottage. We have stayed in Pelham Pines Chateau, so this is our second time dealing with Tasha. She is an absolute pleasure to rent from! You can tell that it really is important to her that you enjoy your stay and make lasting memories with your family/friends. She is also very easy to reach if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone interested in getting away from it all and we hope to plan another trip back in the new year! Enjoy!!
We had an absolute amazing time at the Pelhm Pines Chateau! I never stayed in a place this nice.... Before staying here, when someone mentioned wings to me, I just thought of chicken wings but no this house has wings. It’s HUGE! The rooms where extremely spacious, the beds were by far the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Tasha was an incredible host, she welcomed us in person and gave us a thorough walk through. We can’t wait to book with her again! Thank you again Tasha, for everything!
Absolutely love this location. Was there with a group of 11 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably and have our own bathrooms.
The place is huge, multiple wings, a full games room, a relaxing hot tub and a gorgeously Christmas decorated great room.
I seriously can’t say enough about this place and the staff. Tasha was amazing with every question we had, suggestions on what we should see and do, where to eat. Was a lovely time reconnecting with friends in a beautifully laid out place with much to do.
My husband and I look forward to our vacation time at the Crystal Beach House every Summer! The beach house is so cute and cozy, and it's just steps away from the beach which is so convenient! The water here is crystal clear, and we find that everyone in the community is so welcoming and friendly. We also love that we can always find a spot on the beach since it's private! One of our other favorite things to do is ride our bikes along the waterfront and into town for an ice cream! We can't wait to come back for our next family Summer vacation!
My husband and I have absolutely loved our stays at the Pelham Pines Chateau. Not only is the home inside stunning, but there are so many fun things for us to do together on the property, we feel like we're staying at a resort! Between the pool and hot tub, the games room with ping pong, darts, and foosball, to the massage chairs in the movie room, and playlot outside for the kids, you feel like you're in your own resort oasis. Not only that but we love touring the many wineries and cute shops in the area! We would highly recommend this stay for another family!
WE HAD A WONDERFUL LADIES WEEKEND AWAY AT THIS INCREDIBLE 7000 SQ FOOT HOME, 5 BEDROOM, MULTIPLE FULL BATHROOMS, HOT TUB, MASSAGE CHAIRS, GAMES ROOM....AND SO MUCH MORE! THE DECOR OF THE ENTIRE HOUSE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS IMPECCABLY CLEAN, AND POSSESSED SUCH A WARM AND COMFORTING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE 9 OF US TO RELAX FROM OUR BUSY LIVES FOR A FEW DAYS. THE GROUNDS WERE VERY WELL KEPT AND WAS OBVIOUS THERE WAS CARE AND THOUGHT PUT INTO THE LOVELY LANDSCAPING. WE LOVED THE HOT TUB IN THE EVENING, AND THE MASSAGE CHAIRS WERE A HIT! OUR HOSTESS TASHA WAS WONDERFUL. SHE PROMPTLY RESPONDED TO TEXTS/EMAILS, ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS, AND GREETED US AT THE DOOR WITH GENUINE FRIENDLINESS AND WARMTH WHEN WE ARRIVED. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A GREAT WEEKEND! THIS WAS A SOLID 5 STAR EXPERIENCE.
We had a relaxing stay in this cozy cottage. Walking through the open plan main area to the view of the lake was breathtaking! There were only a few boats on the lake, so it was very peaceful. We liked having the option to lounge on the upper level under the stars or poolside in the sunshine. The yard was large enough for the boys to toss the football around and the dock was a great place to settle in while they went kayaking. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Nice to know this spot was so close to stores if we needed to pop out for any extra food. If you want a fun getaway in Southwestern Ontario, you’ll love it!
What a sweet little town! We had fun roaming on foot and on bikes and trying out food stops as we went. The community this beach house is nestled in reminds us of a pretty New England town, with everything so well manicured. The decor was clean, fresh and stylish, with lots of little touches we kept noticing. Lots of seating and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with all the extras, even a cappuccino maker. So great to be steps from the sandy beach and able to wade far into the clear water to cool off. We enjoyed sunset views over the water from the front porch and the kitchen window and on the cooler nights, sitting by the fire table on the back deck. Pickleball and Tennis were fun too. We headed into Niagara Falls, as it was only 15 minutes away. So convenient and we look forward to staying again soon. We highly recommend to anyone wanting a beach stay, with Niagara city sights close by.
Such an elegant property. Nestled into nature, it felt expansive and very private. Relaxing by and playing in the pool was a highlight in the summer, as was the home theatre when the temperatures dipped. The entrance from the grand foyer into the great room was very inviting, especially with the fire going. The space was amazing for entertaining, with the boys enjoying the games and media rooms. The bedrooms were spacious with cozy beds and lots of storage for clothing and the kitchen had everything +++ that we needed. Everything was spotless. A great place for a large family gathering with lots of space for people to go off on their own, or congregate together. Loved having Niagara wine country just down the street. We give this stay 5 stars.
In the summer of 2020, I visited Tasha’s Crystal Beach Cottage for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the pristine homes, manicured lawns and peaceful surroundings. It almost felt like I had entered a past era or a movie set.
The area had a great feeling of openness yet high security and neighbors looking out for each other.
The house itself is perfectly located with water views from various angles. Being only a step away from the water, allowing for lovely fresh air and a beautiful cottage feel. Although the house is a “cottage” it has every amenity and is fully outfitted to meet every need. I stayed in the self-sufficient lower suite which provided privacy and comfort!
The beach had the clearest water I have seen in Ontario so I guess that’s why it’s called Crystal beach! The sand is white and soft. There is a private area on the beach for the homeowners which is an outstanding feature.
From the beach, it is a small walk to beautiful boutique-type stores and various pubs and eateries. Enjoying mimosas after a stroll on the beach, then reading a book before going for a Mexican meal in the evening was totally rejuvenating. It felt like I had been to the Caribbean for the weekend.
All in all I would highly recommend Crystal beach. I can not overstate the attention to detail, the level of cleanliness, and the thought that has been put into this place!
I am definitely going back!
I stayed at Pelham Pines in September 2021. The place was outstanding from the entrance gates right through to the pool. The fenced pool area gave the feeling of being at a holiday resort with the added beauty of the house and tall trees around. Just walking around the property was so peaceful and stunning.
The bedrooms had the ambiance of a majestic restful castle but with all modern amenities. Plentiful space for me and my friends including a beautiful large movie theatre and plenty of intimate gathering spaces. From sitting on the patio to enjoying the breakfast bar, all in all it was an amazing experience. The level of cleanliness, order, and comfort truly felt like real attention had been paid to detail. A perfect balance of cozy yet expansive.
The area itself was outstanding. Although the setting is private and secluded, within minutes there is a beautiful town, lovely walking areas, phenomenal views, and vineyards.
I will be returning for sure!
The place is great as described and your first impression is likely to be as great as ours.
From the moment you arrive at the grand gate, pass through the pine forest to the entrance to the front steps, you have the impression of space and opulence. This is confirmed, as you round the last corner and catch your first view of the front of the chateau, proceed up the stair entrance, open the doors and are greeted inside by the double-curved staircases leading to the second-floor balconies overlooking the foyer, great room, the back yard, deck and pool.
We found the house to be spacious with wide halls and large bedrooms, a large, well-equipped kitchen for a special event or large family stay.
The basement games room area is most inviting in your downtime or as the main event. The outdoor landscaping, pool, firepit, chess set, oversized play structure and mature woods are always beckoning for a walk around and offer something for a wide variety of guest tastes.
Hawks circling overhead, a stroll through by Ginger, the local friendly feral cat, and fall maple leaves turning colour remind you that in spite of all the amenities available to you here and the nearby urban areas, you are in nature on this property.
We spent a week here in October, 2021 where a large thanksgiving family gathering was hosted outdoors on the deck, due to COVID requirements. Because of the warm weather, the heated pool and hot tub were well utilized as were the outdoor table tennis set, chess set and other lawn areas.
We would highly recommend this venue for a large family gathering or special event to take place inside or out. Your guests or family will not be disappointed.
We stayed in Tasha's Beach house at Crystal Beach for two weeks in September 2021 and absolutely love the tastefully decorated beach house, immaculately maintained gardens and community grounds, the setting, the beach and water view, sunsets, the shallow clean water, walks on the beach, stand up paddleboarding on my board, pickleball and tennis. Regarding pickleball, there is a group of residents and guests that meet daily to play pickleball after the evening meal and they were most welcoming and patient with newcomers and even those learning to play. Bring your equipment and guest fob to gain entrance to the courts.
We also liked that we were about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls for a different outing on a cooler day.
I stayed at Pelham Pines Chateau in Niagara with my wife and our 2 little girls along with our good friends and there little one we had an unbelievable time. We were there from September 1 to September 6th, 2021. During that time we got to enjoy the beautiful heated salt water pool along with the hot tub, fire pit, pool table and games the property was absolutely amazing. Very private with lots of room to roam around and enjoy the outdoors. Every room was amazing super cosy and roomy
house was very clean and spacious, you will be in your own little paradise. The location is also amazing super close to everything. The hostess is remarkable very pleasant, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend anyone who's looking for a getaway to check out Pelham Pines Chateau, you will not be disappointed. We are so looking forward to coming back!

Pelham Pines Chateau in Niagara was is ideal for us looking for a central base for exploring wine country as well as all of the Niagara region. The location is perfect central to all of the iconic areas we wanted to visit.
The home itself was absolutely stunning with room for the entire family, we were 6 adults plus kids.
Bedrooms had space for everyone, and the beds were heavenly (seriously Heavenly!). We didn’t want to leave because of all there was to do right on the property. An amazing backyard space, with a camp fire pit, with a pool (Closed for winter)and hot tub for starters. The kids kept busy with the pool table, and ping pong. Tasha was an amazing host and very responsive to any questions we had. It was truly a wonderful holiday both at the Chateau, as well as exploring around the wine country.
I’ll add that checking in was hassle-free, and Tasha was very helpful with directions and information about the city. A fabulous place to stay in the Niagara region. Great value, will definitely be back!

This was hands down my favorite stay ever at any place we have rented. A stone's throw from a beautiful white sandy beach..., where can you experience a crystal white beach in Ontario? At Tasha's Crystal Beach house! Tasha was an amazing host and was responsive, however, everything was laid out so well, we didn’t really have many questions. The accommodations themselves were very comfortable, spotless and tastefully decorated. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy a wonderful week at the beach. We will definitely be back and have already booked for next summer. Can’t wait!
If you are looking for a private resort like home close enough to travel to both Toronto and Niagara Falls look no further. This house has a scenic river view. It is spacious and the decor is both luxurious and comfortable. The owners and hostess were very accommodating.

We loved our stay! There were so many amazing little touches, like chocolates on our pillows and a hand written welcome card, and great amenities as well like the massage chair, huge chess set, yard games, etc. Just very well done and so much more than a typical house rental. Stay here!
The home and staff are amazing! The views are breathtaking and the home is in wonderful shape. The staff is always available and ready to help if you need anything.
This was our first trip to the area and we were unsure what to expect. We drove from Chicago and the border guard into Canada asked what our plans are and we said vacation in Cambridge. This would be the first of many “you’re vacationing in Cambridge? Why?”
We got the same questions from locals (and US border guard while leaving), but once you arrive at this home, you will know why you rented it.
Currency exchange from the US isn’t a problem at 99% of the places we visited. I had an issue at Costco since they don’t except US credit cards - but they have an ATM in the store with a low $1 fee.
Niagara Falls was about 90 minutes with traffic but well worth the trip. The Skylon for lunch was a perfect start.
We found the Walmart in Cambridge as our go-to store for our basic needs as well, but make sure you need it first. The house is packed with many essentials.
We found a little brewery called Jackass Brewery that was open during the week and the Sun Kiss beer they make is amazing. The locals are very friendly as well and everyone had a story about the house we were staying in.
Great vacation and the kids rated it an 11 on the 1-10 scale.
We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend getaway the weekend of June 29th. This home will not disappoint offering something for everyone. For those that choose to relax and do nothing, they could sit by the pool and read a book or enjoy one of the massage chairs. For those feeling more adventurous, they can zip down the water slide, play ping pong/foosball or go canoeing. There are also tons of games and movies available to use. The pool is comfortably heated. This home has pretty much any kitchen accessory you could possibly want accessible for your use including all kinds of spices for cooking/grilling and items like Pam, sandwich bags, maple syrup. Shampoo/conditioner is also available in all the showers. I would highly recommend this home to build lasting family memories!
Our family of 10 adults and 3 kids was really happy with our stay. The house have just about everything we needed for all ages. The best part is how quickly they responded when we needed help. A member of our family lock the door by accident and it was resolve quickly. Same with the pool light being turned off and they called the pool guy to come out right away. The house have all the seasoning needed if you really want to cook. The room was spacious and cleans as well.

We had such a lovely time at Tasha’s gorgeous home. The amenities were amazing. The property is truly beautiful. We were able to spend time by the pool and down by the river. In the evening we gathered by the outdoor fireplace. We had such a relaxing time with our family.

Pool was great-heated & with a slide!Being able to have a fire every night right out on the deck was great! Very convenient to a variety of stores & restaurants. The Riverside Log Home Luxury Cottage is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The description of the place is accurate. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, condiments, and everything that you would need. Plenty of activities for children and adults on the premises. The children loved playing board games, spending time in the outdoor playground, and having a bonfire. The adults loved spending time in the massage chairs and taking in the scenery. Tasha was very quick to respond to questions and made the booking process a breeze. It was a simple transaction. Tasha was flexible in providing us a later check-out time and provided lots of info on events and activities in the surrounding area. We really appreciated the attention to detail that Tasha and her team provided. Thank you so much Tasha! We had a wonderful relaxing time.

We had a lovely stay at Tasha's cottage. The place is extremely clean, very well equipped, and simply is the perfect spot for a gateway without having to drive 3 or 4 hours! It was the perfect wedding venue for our intimate wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better place.
The pool and the jacuzzi outside are amazing, everyone loved the massage chairs, the view is gorgeous, the canoes are a great addition, so are the piano and the guitar, etc.
We can't wait to be back for another one of our reunions with our friends or family!

Our stay was a Winter wonderland experience and the house accomodated our group with small kids comfortably and provided easy access to some winter fun on the grounds surrounding the house. Building a fire beside the river, access to nearby kids ski slopes, the pretty environment only a short drive from Toronto were highlights.
Tasha's cottage is absolutely wonderful. Activities on activities that could keep any group engaged all day long from little to kids to adults. It was everything I hoped for from the photos, plus some unexpected surprises inside. Tasha's attention to detail form how she has decorated and equipped the space, to how well they have prepared the cottage for renters was very impressive. Would love to stay here again!

This place has EVERYTHING! Our softball team of colleagues stayed at Tasha's place for the labour day long weekend and had an absolute BLAST! Not only was the cottage breathtaking, the amenities were outstanding and the service Tasha and Victoria provided was second to none. We had a couple of very small hiccups throughout the weekend and they were on point to resolve them right away for us. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this cottage as an amazing place to stay! Tasha and Victoria are lovely hostesses. The cottage is breathtaking and super clean at check in. My husband and I got married there a couple weeks ago and it was the perfect venue. It was exactly what we wanted and better than we expected. We had a couple hiccups during our stay but they were resolved immediately and without a hitch. i recently rented Tasha's cabin for my family to stay in prior to my daughters wedding. Our experience was above all expectations. Communications with Tasha prior to our stay were timely and helpful. At check in, Tasha provided a very in depth tour of the home and it became immediately apparent we had rented a wonderful spot. The home is extremely clean and well organized. The view from the living room of the gardens, pool and river was spectacular and the extras in the home were abundant. I would highly recommend Tasha's cabin.
